Earth B.E.A.T.

Energizing Day of Hands-On Learning

With Earth B.E.A.T. (Basic Environmental Awareness Training), K-8 students participate in “Eco-Stations” on local ecology, waste reduction and energy conservation. Through these fun, inter-active activities, students make meaningful connections to class curriculum and state learning standards. All participants are inspired to be responsible stewards of the environment and caretakers of their own health.

Sign up your class or camp group for 2017:

Option #1: Earth B.E.A.T. Community Event

This option engages the whole school community in a one or two day event that can involve a couple of grades or the entire student body. We train teachers and parents as Eco-Station facilitators, supply materials, and assist schools with event coordination to ensure a wonderful experience. Please take the time to review our Earth B.E.A.T. Community Event Planners Handbook

Option #1: Earth B.E.A.T. Pro

With Earth B.E.A.T. Pro, we bring experienced environmental educators to you to take care of everything — from help-ing you chose the best Eco-Stations, to facilitating all activities and leading the discussion on ways to extend the experience into students’ homes and their communities.

Here’s what Earth B.E.A.T. participants had to say:

“I loved how interactive (Earth B.E.A.T.) was – how it fully involved the kids, engaged them in questions and, most importantly, made a very tactile connection to what we are talking about and what they can actually DO going forward.”
— Andrea Arden (Andy), Parent Facilitator

“The thing I like most about Earth BEAT  is your learning while having fun and you do something instead of just sitting and listening.”  — 5th Grade Student

Just wanted to say thank you to you, Abby, and all the wonderful facilitators who came to Link for Earth Beat. We got such great feedback from teachers and students, and could tell it was a huge hit with everyone. Thanks for all your hard work and talent for running each station. I, for one, learned a lot! — Ellen Schwendenmann, PTA Link Elementary
