Recognizing outstanding efforts to cleanup and beautify Rockland County is part of KRB's successful four-pronged strategy -- education, volunteer cleanups, enforcement and recognition -- for changing the face of Rockland for the better. Our awards gala takes place in the fall, at Nyack Beach State Park, in the historic Bath House in partnership with the Artists in the Parks organization. We usually celebrate high-achievers in the following areas: Litter law enforcement Environmental education Adopt-a-road volunteers Volunteer cleanups Beautification and Public Arts Sponsor of KRB Our goal is to celebrate and learn from successful efforts, bringing together like-minded people from civic organizations, local government, the business community and the general public. You will probably recognize some names and organizations in the list of past Honorees that can be viewed below. You are certainly welcome to submit your nominations for honorees in any of the above categories at any time, or even help us organize the next event! The table below is organized by date, with the most recent honorees at the top. If you would like more information about any of these people or their activities please do not hesitate to contact KRB.
