Keep Rockland Beautiful's Budget

Keep Rockland Beautiful is a contract agency with the County government, and the County grant accounts for about 80% of KRB's budget, covering rent, the salary of a part-time executive director and part-time project coordinator and a few other necessities. The remainder of the budget comes from membership dues (KRB has about 300 members), fundraising events, corporate donations and grants from public and private sources (such as Orange and ROckland's Community Investment Program and the Arts Council of Rockland). These donations cover the costs of cleanup supplies such as the t-shirts and trash bags we give volunteers, and other progam expenses we otherwise couldn't afford.

For individuals and families, any donation over $10 means you are a member (we ask $50 from businesses), and entitles you to newsletters and invitations to fun and interesting events. An on-line membership form will appear in this space soon. Network for Good is a non-profit organization facilitating donations to virtually every non-profit organization chartered in the U.S., for a minimal processing fee.
