Keep Rockland Beautiful is seeking a dynamic, outgoing and highly organized individual to oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of KRB’s bi-annual cleanup campaigns. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong passion for creating a cleaner, greener county.

The Cleanup Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to: build volunteer participation, partnerships and support for the Great American Cleanup (GAC) and Fall Waterways Cleanup campaigns across all age groups and sectors throughout the county; implement increasingly effective and efficient cleanups that remove tons of trash, debris and recyclables and aid in prevention; develop and deliver engaging environmental education on waste reduction and watershed protection; manage and distribute volunteer supplies and promotional materials; assist with securing and cultivating new and existing members and cleanup campaign sponsors; and manage website content and social.

The Cleanup Coordinator position entails work outdoors, such as hanging banners, surveying sites, and leading/assisting at cleanups, as well as time in the office doing outreach and follow-up, overseeing the on-line registration and reporting process, and collecting and entering data.
