Students have until May 14th, 2021, to submit their entries to the Rockland County Environmental Management Council via email to laiblen@co.rockland.ny.us or mail to 50 Sanatorium Road, Building A, Room 614, Pomona, NY.
Winning entries will be invited to the annual awards ceremony, details to follow.
“I am always so impressed by the ideas and insights of the students who participate in this annual event. Being able to read their essays and posters gives me great hope for the environmental future of Rockland. I thank all of the students, parents, teachers and schools who are working to raise awareness of plastic alternatives and waste reduction,” said County Executive Day.
